RISING STAR 3 YEAR OLD FELL PONY GEL

Rising 3yo (May 2019) registered Fell gelding currently standing 13.2hh.   This is a very sad sale of a much loved family horse so no time wasters please, all potential homes will be vetted. Experienced homes only.   Marv is a quality Fell gelding with the potential to go far in the show ring. He is a typical young fell, bundles of character but in the right home will go far. Has been very lightly bitted, felt a saddle on his back but not been broken to ride yet. Was unbothered by the saddle or being leant over. Stables fine, currently turned out in a herd but is happy turned out alone, never freaks if left out alone. Will stand to have feet picked out but can sometimes be wiggly. Has been loaded and travelled and usually not an issue to load, just needs a confident handler. Is up to date with the dentist, vaccinations and farrier. Must go to an experienced home as Marv can be a handful sometimes, nothing dangerous just a typical headstrong youngster. The only big argument we have is the hosepipe – he is not a fan, but with time and work this would be possible but we do not have the confidence to do this with him.   We bought Marv as a rising 2 year old and he is a part of our family so this is a very hard decision to sell. Ultimately we feel he needs more than we can give him and we would like him to go to a home that is experienced with youngsters where Marv can continue his education and become the pony we know he has the potential to be.   Comes with a wardrobe of rugs, fly masks, multiple headcollars and a brand new English leather bridle that has he’s only worn twice.
